How To Rinseless Wash Your Car
If you need a clean, shiny car but don’t have hours to spend on getting it to that point, or can’t get a mobile detailer, then a rinseless wash is the solution! See.. everyone wants to have a clean car all the time but maybe you don’t have the time to keep it that way. A rinseless wash is the perfect solution to cleaning your car in under 30 minutes and keeping it perfectly clean all the time!
Firstly you will need some supplies:
A bucket (preferably a 3-4 gallon bucket)
Some microfiber towels
A few gallons of distilled water (using distilled water will prevent water spotting if it happens to dry on the panels)
A rinseless wash solution
All of these products are readily available at your local auto parts store.
A quick side note that makes this method that much better is being able to keep all the necessary supplies in your car all the time making it easy to wash your car anywhere!
Anyhow, on to the actual wash process:
Fill up your bucket with the distilled water (you can do anywhere from 2-4 gallons depending on the size of your vehicle).
Use the recommended amount of rinseless wash in your bucket (this is usually a 1:128 dilution ratio).
Dunk your microfiber towels in your wash bucket (you will usually need 4-6 towels).
Fold your first towel into fourths and start one panel at a time using one side of your towel for each section. Once you use up all the sides of your first towel, put that one to the side and do the same process with the next towel.
***WARNING: do NOT put used towels back in the bucket of clean wash solution***
Once done with all panels of the car you can start drying it. You can also dry the panels as you go if you are working in the direct sun or heat.
OPTIONAL: Once you have fully washed the car you can apply a spray wax to keep it protected and make it easier to wash the next time around.
Keep in mind the more you do this the faster you get, we’ve found a good average time for this is just 25-30 minutes!
