How To Wash Your Car Most Efficiently

Washing your car can be a time consuming task that we want to make as efficient and systematic as possible while still being as detailed and comprehensive as we can. In this blog we will go over a very basic system as well as some simple tips to help you wash your car in the most efficient way possible.

Firstly we need a simple process that we will always use and can add on to it when necessary. Once again emphasis on simple, if necessary, we will add on to it.

  1. The first step is detailing the wheels. This is a very important part in achieving a great end result. Here is the exact process we use to deep clean wheels.

  2. Next we will start by pre-rinsing the paint to remove any loose debris and dirt.

  3. Then we will begin our contact wash.

  4. After the contact wash we rinse all the leftover suds and dirt off the vehicle leaving just a wet surface.

  5. We finish by simply drying the surface with a microfiber drying towel to minimize scratching.

Now that you have a basic idea on how to wash a car in the most simple way possible, we can add on small things if needed. By the way, once you get good at this process, it shouldn’t take you any longer than 35-40 minutes to complete. However, here’s a few basic add-ons you might want to consider also including in your car wash.

  1. Foam cannon. You may or may not want to use this, and it really comes down to preference and time. Will it aid in washing your car? Simple answer: yes, however with the added cost of time and complexity. If you're wanting to keep it really simple, then this is not something I would recommend.

  2. Spray wax. Adding some sort of protection such as a spray wax after washing your car is something I always recommend just because of the protection aspect of it. Also, if you are someone who washes your car regularly (once every 1-2 weeks), then this is definitely worth the extra time as it will save you time on your next wash!

  3. Tire shine. Applying a tire shine will simply improve your end result and make the car just pop that much more. It’s not something that I would recommend if you're short on time, but if you want a really awesome end result, then it’s definitely worth the time spent. It will also make the following washes easier as well!

And there you have just a few add-ons as well as a simple step-by-step process on washing your car as efficiently and quickly as possible. If you have any questions at all about anything ceramic coatings, paint correction, or auto detailing please feel free to reach out at any time!
